Together Care Australia offers specialised trainings for the purpose of upskilling and providing personal development to those caring for people with a disability or mental health concerns. Trainings can be delivered online or in person for individuals and groups who wish to learn more about an area of care or an aspect of Behaviour Support, Psychology, disability support, or mental health.
Our specialised trainings can be paid for privately and are moulded to you and your support needs, making them versatile and unique.

Introduction to Positive Behaviour Support.
Learn all about NDIS Positive Behaviour Support including identifying participants who may benefit, gaining the appropriate funding, understanding your role, working with providers, collecting data, and implementing strategies.
Managing Challenging Behaviour.
Gain a new perspective into managing challenging behaviour by going back to the basics of knowing how to identify behaviours, understanding their function, preventing escalation, and responding to escalation.
Introduction to Psychology.
Learn all things Psychology including identifying people who may benefit, helping them access and maintain support, managing risk of suicide and self-harm, identifying additional supports, and understanding your role.
Gain a better understanding of how to manage a specific challenging behaviour such as aggression (physical, property and verbal), wandering, self-harm and suicidal ideation, sensory behaviours, or food behaviours etc.

Gain a better understanding of a specific condition such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Schizophrenia, Depression, or Anxiety.
Training Delivery and Cost.
Online Trainings (Individual and Groups).
Online trainings are offered to individuals and groups for the purpose of personal upskilling and professional development. These can be delivered at a time that suits you by accessing a live video link that will be sent to you and your team.
Delivery: Live video training via Teams Meeting link
Duration: 2 hours
Cost: $100 per person (discounted rate may be available for groups of 10+)
Face to Face Trainings (Groups Only).
Face to face trainings are offered for groups only and allow us to get a little more hands on with our learning. These can be conducted at a location that suits you best, such as your own place of business, or at a meeting room secured by Together Care Australia. Requests for individual face to face trainings may be accepted under special circumstances.
Delivery: Face to face group training
Duration: 2 hours
Cost: $140 per person (discounted rate may be available for groups of 10+)
Certificate of Completion.
Following the completion of any training, all attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and completion detailing the type and date of training completed.
