Kyriann Coates - Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and Registered Psychologist

Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner and Registered Psychologist (Clinical Registrar), MClinPsych (Post-Reg), GradDip Psych, BSc (Cognitive Neuroscience & Health Psychology)

Kyriann is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar with extensive experience supporting adolescents and adults with disability, mental health challenges and complex behavioural needs. Throughout her career, she has worked across psychology and Positive Behaviour Support, delivering evidence-based, person-centred interventions that promote meaningful and lasting outcomes.

With a strong background in both Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support, Kyriann has held leadership roles as a Team Leader and Regional Manager, overseeing behaviour support services while mentoring multidisciplinary teams and supporting individuals with complex support needs. Her clinical interests include anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, emotional regulation, attachment and behaviours of concern, allowing her to provide holistic support tailored to each individual's goals.

Known for her warm, authentic and down-to-earth approach, Kyriann believes the best outcomes come from building genuine therapeutic relationships. She is passionate about creating a safe, collaborative environment where participants feel heard, understood and empowered to build skills, increase independence and improve their quality of life.

Kyriann holds a Master of Clinical Psychology (Post Registration) and provides both Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support services to NDIS participants using evidence-based, trauma-informed and strengths-focused approaches tailored to each person's unique needs.
